Optional Projects, Challenge Work. We are currently working on decoding reading strategies. In class students are using these strategies to assist them with effective reading skills. We will continue to focus on setting, main character, and main events of the story. Read all about it! Pictures and Carnival Basket. Your child will have a picture taken that will be part of the certificate passed out as part of the Fifth Grade Celebration. It will not have a cap and gown as pictured in the hand out. Your child was given the letter below about a week ago with an envelope. This is for the fifth grade basket. If you are going to contribute, we need this ASAP. Picture day is Wednesday March 27th. Will be taking an individual picture.
